Love, Mackenzy
“Dear NICU mama, I hope you give yourself permission to feel.
When your baby is in the NICU, it can be easy to live in survival mode. You can find yourself going day in and day out and not feeling a thing. The constant rotating door of new information and tough decisions can be exhausting, and sometimes you may be going through the motions without allowing yourself to process the emotions.
Being a NICU parent is not a straightforward experience. But know that you are a strong mama and feeling your emotions does not make you weak. So take a deep breath, give yourself grace, and give yourself permission to feel.”
Love,
Mackenzy
