““My name is Miah Acevedo, and my son's name is Kian Anthony Acevedo. It took us 5 years to finally get pregnant. Kian was born on May 10th, 2020 at 24 weeks and 6 days. He weighed 1 pound 4 ounces and spent 103 days in the NICU. Kian fought through bronchopulmonary dysplasia, tracheal malasia, a face ulcer, multiple UTI’s, many infections both in his kidneys and blood, a PDA, GERD, failure for thrive, ROP, and he was intubated an estimated 7 different times. He was a fighter and would prove the doctors wrong constantly! Kian is a miracle. He is now almost 5 months old, 2 months adjusted, and weighs 7 pounds 4 ounces.”
